Walton "Walt" Gray was born July 23, 1939 in Miccosukee, Florida and passed away on June 9, 2018.

As a youth, Walt attended schools in the Tallahassee area. After graduating from Florida High School, he served four years in the US Air Force, which brought him to Beale Air Force Base and Marysville, California, where he met and eventually married the love of his life, Lynn (Watkins) Gray, in 1965. Walton worked for Sherwin Williams Paint Company until he retired after 40 years. He lived his life as a believer in and servant of Jesus Christ, faithfully serving in many capacities in his local church. His genuine love for the Lord was evident to all who knew him, and to many who met him only once.

Walt is survived by his wife, Lynn Gray, daughter and son-in-law, Sheryl and June Seino, and son, Daryn Gray. Three grandchildren, Destiny Gray, Addison Seino and Elisa Seino; a brother, Lewis Elton Gray and sister, Barbara Thompson, both of Tallahassee, and a sister, Patsy Melvin of Pensacola; and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

For the past 22 years, Walt loved serving and honoring our military and veterans through his participation in the A Grateful Nation Remembers ceremonies presented each Memorial Day at Calvary Christian Center, Yuba City (agratefulnationremembers.com). Knowing his heart for veterans, his family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to A Grateful Nation Remembers. Either mail to MCM, Inc., PO Box 3253, Yuba City, CA 95992, or donate online at cccyc.net by selecting "GIVE" and designating "Grateful Nation Remembers."

A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Christian Center, 2620 Colusa Highway, Yuba City, California on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 6:30 pm. All who knew him and loved him are invited to gather to honor the life of this amazing man.
