Joreta Ann Butler, 82, of Sullivan, died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013.
She was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Indiana to Elmer and Helen (nee Arnold) Huff.
Joreta lived in the Huntington and Sullivan areas most of her life.
She was a member of the VFW auxiliary and Faith Christian Church in Spencer.
She enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, knitting, and crocheting. Joreta was also a talented artist and enjoyed painting.
Joreta is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Earl Bulter; children Joyce (Larry) Jordan of Sullivan and Richard (Pat) Denbow of Wise Virginia; mother, Helen Huff; and nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer; sister, Mary Helen Puskas; and sons Don Denbow and Robert Denbow.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, Jan. 24 from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington, with pastor Thomas Keller officiating.
Burial will follow at Sullivan Southview Cemetery.
