Robert E. Tougas, 82, died Saturday, March 15, 2014, in Vero Beach, FL, formally of Largo, FL.
He was born in Charlestown, R.I. and was the son of the late Irene and Edmond Tougas.
As a RISD '59 graduate, Robert worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Bostitch, Honeywell and Sperry Aerospace Corporations. Robert was a veteran of the Air Force. He dedicated much of his life to assisting the homeless of the Clearwater, FL, area.
Robert is survived by his wife Ann, nephew, Jeffrey Nolan, of Vero Beach, FL, 5 nieces & nephews, 25 great-nieces/nephews.
