Bud, Buddy and Tim and your families,
I am sorry for the loss of Alice and your Mom for she will leave an empty spot in your lives, as in so many others. She was a lady that always seemed to be at peace and I think it was because she lived her life in the truest of ways. She did what was right in every situation and with every person...therefore she had inner peace...an example for all of us!
And her heart and soul was filled with music with she shared so willingly with so many.Another of her gifts to so many. When you hear some of her favorite pieces may you think that she is still sending you her joyous gift, and may it bring you comfort.
I am sorry I did not pay tribute to her at the service for I surely would have except I did not hear until last night. You are in my thoughts.

I, remember Alice and her brother Walter.
We all went to vacation bible school at the Second Baptist Church back the early 50's. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed learning about the Lord. We also were Pioneer Girls, with Alice,Judie, and Karole Zeller and Joy Gavitt and so many more. I, think will became born again christian in about 1954 at Ston.High School through Billy Graham. Late Mildred Wilkerson would come to White Rock every Thursday to pick us up for church. Alice, was a very quiet but she was always a friend. Bud, and her 2 sons she is safe in God's hands and she will rest in peace. She always had a smile for everyone.

My sincere condolences for the loss of your beloved Alice. Our heavenly Father has promised to "wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." How we long for Him to undo all the heartache death has brought.
May God's Word, your treasured memories and your loving family and friends continue to be a source of comfort for you at this difficult time.
With Deep Sympathy,

To the Morgan and the 2nd Baptist Church families;
I grew up attending 2nd Baptist as a child and returned to services as an adult for a short time before leaving state for a time. I will always remember Mrs Morgan and her smile as she played the piano and the organ during services. She was a very sweet person. She will be missed by so many. We were all blessed to have had her in the church. My sympathies to all who knew and loved her. I beleive she is in God's arms now - singing and playing beautiful music with His angels.

Dear Bud and family, We are saddened to hear of Alice's homegoing. I am reminded of this wonderful quote, Thomas Brooks said, "Death to a saint is nothing but the taking of a sweet flower out of this wilderness, and planting of it in the garden of paradise.". Today we can know that paradise is more beautiful with it's new flower.

My sincere condolences to you, Bud, and to Walter and the rest of Alice's family. Although I was acquainted only for a short time with Alice, I found her to be all that her Pastor described. A very wonderful lady who will be missed by all. Please know that my prayers are with you at this difficult time. Sincerely, Roy

Alice has been my friend and pianist for nearly forty years. The world will not be the same without her wonderful piano and organ playing. I will miss her so very much, and she will be sadly missed by the Grange.

Praying for all the Morgan family. I remember Alice from visiting North Stonington Baptist Church through the years with my friend, Nancy Gavitt, and her family. She will be missed by so many in her family and church family. The Lord blessed her with talent like so many in her family which she used to praise the Lord. God Bless!

It was my wonderful privilege to be Alice's Pastor and friend for the last 17 years. She was one of the finest Christians I have ever known. Her life was characterized by a faithfulness to her church and a dedication to Jesus Christ. I shall never cease to thank God for the privilege of knowing her these last 40 years. She will be deeply missed but her joyful spirit will continue to be present for years to come. God bless you, dear friend, and we shall meet in the morning of eternity when we shall all be together again. Dr. Reg & Eleanor Dunlap
