Wilfred Nadeau Obituary

Wilfred W. Nadeau, 81, beloved husband of Geraldine L. (Stabile) Nadeau, of Clark Street, Westerly, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011.
Born in Charlestown, Mass., he was the son of the late Charles and Viola Nadeau.
Wilfred worked as a firefighter for the town of Larchmont, N.Y., for many years, retiring as a lieutenant. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Melissa Nadeau, of Westerly, and his granddaughter, Jessica L. Nadeau. Wilfred was predeceased by a son, Ronald J. Nadeau.
Visiting hours are omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly. Burial with full military honors will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter.
