Dwayne Daugherty Obituary
He was born in Fall River, Mass.
Dwayne was the loving father of Jasmine R. Daugherty, of Pawcatuck. He was also the beloved son of Nancy (Soares) Daugherty, of Westerly, her companion, Joseph Turdo, his father, Alvin C. Daugherty, and loving stepmother, Barbara Andrade, of Fall River.
He worked in the roofing business for many years in the Westerly and Pawcatuck area.
In his spare time, Dwayne was an avid reader, from fiction to politically controversial issues.
In addition to his daughter and parents, he leaves three sisters, Angel Brainard, of Woonsocket, R.I., Crystal Badeau, of Norwich, and Giny Ann Pierce of Westerly; maternal grandparents, William and Nancy Soares, of Hopkinton, R.I.; several aunts and uncles; and his lifelong friend, Julie Pacheco.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Rose Migneault, and his uncle, Clifford Soares.
His family will receive friends Friday, April 6, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 9 p.m. at the Mystic Funeral Home, Route 1, Mystic (51 Williams Ave.) A memorial service will be held Saturday, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
The family respectfully wishes that flowers be omitted. Donations may be made to Barbara Andrade, 301 Milliken Blvd., Apt. 707, Fall River, MA 02721.

Dwayne, just a few weeks ago we were talking about how you knew my dad, then i find out this terrible news. you had such a big heart, and everything ive seen from you was always filled with kindness. we lost an angel and someone gained one. thoughts are with you.
