Frank (Hank) Salvatore Manfredi, of Bellevue Avenue, Westerly, died peacefully on Dec. 31, 2013. He was the beloved husband of 61 years of Dorothy.

Born in Westerly in 1923, he was the son of the late Natale and Rose Manfredi.
Frank was self-employed as owner of B & F Restaurant in Westerly for twenty years and numerous other business ventures in San Bernardino, California. He was also an honorably discharged US Navy Veteran of WWII.
Frank was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and a life time member of the Elks and Sons of Italy. He was proud of his five year term with the Housing Authority in Westerly. Frank was co-manager of the 1950 Little League All Star Team who made history getting all the way to the quarter finals in Williamsport, PA World Series.
In addition to his wife Dorothy, Frank will be sadly missed by his three sons and daughters-in-law: Frank & Dea, Barry & Karen and Chris & Jennifer; grandchildren, Stacey Trombino, and Barry, Steven, Teresa, Maeve, Cassandra, Mathew, and Beatrice Manfredi, as well as, great granddaughter, Claire. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy Bruno, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank was predeceased by his sister, Mary Grills.

Visiting hours are omitted. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Jan. 6, 2014, at 10 a.m., in Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery, Westerly. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Home & Hospice Care of R.I,, 1085 N Main St., Providence, R.I. 02904, in Frank's memory.
