Rosalie Tatun Obituary

Rosalie (Manzella) Tatun of Stamford passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Stamford Hospital at the age of 93. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Tatun. Born in Pawcatuck, Connecticut. She was the daughter of the late Benedetto and Pauline (Macaione) Manzella.
Rosalie was a 1937 graduate of Stonington High School and a graduate of the American Hairdressing College of Stamford. Rosalie worked for many years as a hairdresser at Harper Method in Greenwich. In later years, she worked at Greenwich Hospital.
Rosalie is survived by her brother, Victor J. (Ida) Manzella of Pawcatuck. She was predeceased by sisters Ann (Ray) Thorp of Florida, Frances (John) Cerasoli and Ida (Robert) Alexander of Westerly, Rhode Island, and a brother Anthony B. Manzella of Pawcatuck. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass was held at noon Friday, August 23, 2013 at St. Mary's Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford, CT. Burial followed immediately at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
