Virgene Farrell Obituary
Born in Westerly, she was a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Marion Sullivan.
Virgene worked as a Teacher for the Groton and Stonington School Systems for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Michael the Archangel Church.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Brenda Stone and husband Ronald and granddaughter, Molly Stone, all of Boston, Mass.; a sister, Patricia Raber of CT and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by four brothers, Douglas, Laurence, Vincent and Robert Sullivan, and a sister, Christine Sullivan.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy in St. Mary's Church, 95 Main St., Stonington, on Tuesday at 10am. Burial will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Pawcatuck. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael Building Fund, 60 Liberty St., Pawcatuck, CT 06379, in Virgene's memory.
