William J. Rebello, 85, of Hamilton St., died surrounded by his loving family Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014, at the Miriam Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jeannine (Manosh) Rebello.
Born Jan. 21, 1928, in Providence, he was the son of the late Manuel and Lucy (Vincent) Rebello. A Navy veteran of WWII, he was a truck driver with Teamsters Local #251.
In addition to his wife of 64 years, he leaves his children, Robert Rebello of Glocester, Linda Britt and her husband Clyde of Hope Valley, Joan Egan of Charlestown and her companion Angel Alamo, and Lori Geyer and her husband John of Exeter; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the father of the late Ronald Rebello and the brother of the late Mary Miller and Theresa Oliveira.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Monday, at 9 a.m., in St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are greatly appreciated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
