Ann M. (Lanzetta) Mitchell, 88, of Dixon Street, Westerly, passed away at the Apple Rehab Watch Hill on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012. She was the wife of the late William A. Mitchell.
Born in Westerly, she was the daughter of the late Rocco and Jenny Lanzetta and sister of the late Carmella Brough and James Lanzetta.
Ann lived with and was employed by the Woodworth family of Watch Hill for many years. She will be sorely missed by the Woodworths.
She is survived by a son, William Mitchell, of West Kingston; two grandchildren, Joshua and Matthew Mitchell; and three great-grandsons, Joseph, Liam and Andrew Mitchell.
A visiting hour will be held on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly.
