Condolences to Cheryl's family. I'm just one of those who knew her online through her love for the band 'Yes'. Her light & warmth shone through and was reinforced by those who were lucky enough to meet her in person. Just a few words from across the Pond to show how far that light shone. Rest in Peace, Cheryl.

Dear Mrs. Turner & Family

Please accept my deepest condolences on the loss of Cheryl. She was a huge presents in so many peoples lives, and we all love her.

Mrs. Turner, Cheryl was so appreciated of all the support you give her over the years and would tell me often how much it meant to her. I know her loss will leave you with a large void, but know Cheryl loved and honored you.

Cheryl, my friend I will always remember you, we all will. Our friendship expands many years. Though we were not friends at SBHS, we knew each other and that made it easy for us to develop a great friendship as adults.

One day you randomly called me, to ask me a question about someone we both knew, the next thing I remember we were hanging out and having some great laughs. My most memorable laugh was when you called me and said you had henna put in your hair. That same day you picked me up and when you went to get gas, the sun was beating on your hair, and it was purple. I told you “Cheryl, your hair is purple”, you argued with me saying no it's not, I said in the sun it is. All of a sudden you got out of the car approached the man pumping gas in front of your car and asked “what color is my hair”? The guy looked and said “Sort of blueberry”. Nonetheless you always had beautiful hair, and will always be remembered for those long shinning locks.

I will remember your laugh, the funny voice mails you would always leave on my phone.

I know I will think of you always, and all the fun, times, all the political debates we had, that at times would get heated…who will I spar with now in 2016???? I will miss my friend that I could always count on for late night conversation when I was unable to sleep, I swear you were nocturnal!

Cheryl, I know you are at peace now, and painless. I hope you are in a place as beautiful as your favorite place, Bermuda and “Yes” is blaring.

Cheryl's death was sudden but her life not faint. Her memory will always be with us, there will never be another Cheryl.

So sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. She was probably one of the nicest, and funniest people I have ever met in my life. May God bless you all. You will be in my thoughts and prayers, but just remember, Cheryl probably has them cracking up in Heaven already. Take care of each other.
