Angelo Servidio, the beloved husband of Ortenzia (DeBartolo) Servidio, of Boiling Spring Avenue, Westerly, passed away on Wednesday July 2, 2014, at the age of 82 surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Acri, Province of Cosenza, Italy, he was the son of the late Antonio and Angelina Servidio.
Angelo was employed at American Velvet for 16 years and Wyman-Gordon for 7 years. He was a communicant of St. Pius X Church and a veteran of the Italian Army where he served for 2 years.
Angelo was very proud of his family. He always looked forward to the holidays and family gatherings, where his children and grandchildren surrounded the table. He had a great passion for his garden, where he spent most of his time until he was no longer well. Tending to his fig trees and grape vines was his labor of love.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, Anthony (the late Pamela) Servidio, Frank (Antonella) Servidio and his daughter Susan (Keith) Lauzon, all of Westerly. He will be sadly be missed by his 7 grandchildren Frank, Jessica, and Christopher Servidio; Marc and Nicholas Lauzon; Danielle Rushford and Antonio Servidio.
Angelo is also survived by his brother Guiseppe Servidio, and his sisters Teresina, Marietta, Annina and Palmina Servidio all of Acri Italy. He was predeceased by his brothers Francesco, Ernesto, and Benito Servidio, all of Acri Italy.
Visiting hours will be Sunday from 4-7 p.m., in Gaffney- Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated St. Pius X Church, 44 Elm Street, Westerly, on Monday, July 7th at 10 a.m. There is no procession from the funeral home to the church.
