CHARLESTOWN - Ralph DiRobbio Jr. died peacefully on Friday, Aug. 7, 2014. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Constance (Grab) and his parents, Ralph and Helen DiRobbio Sr.

Ralph is survived by his sons, David and Michael, and daughter-in law, Ann, all of Charlestown; his grandson, Walker; his sisters, Lois Carter, of Forida; Joan Cormier, of Plainfield, Conn.; and Doris Mauchaud, of Maine; and brother, Robert, of Florida; and stepbrother, Donald Sheldon (Priscilla); and their families. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, including Sandy Beaudreau, of Richmond, R.I.; Rex Britt, of North Carolina; and Lois Roby, of Maine; as well as many friends and extended family.

Ralph was self-employed as a contractor for over 40 years. He also worked at Kenyon Industries and as a long-haul truck driver. He lived in Charlestown, R.I. for over 50 years.

He had a great love for life and enjoyed meeting many new friends along the way.

Calling hours are Thursday, Aug. 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St. Westerly, R.I. The funeral service will be held on Friday, Aug. 15, at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Church, 322 Church St.

Donations in Ralph's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
