Victoria Roberta Cholewa, passed away Thursday, August 14th, at her home in Wakefield, R.I.

Born in Norwich, CT, in November of 1961, to Victor Cholewa Sr. and the late Janice Bousquet Cholewa, of Griswold, CT.
Vicki is survived by her son, Zachary, who was the absolute light of her life. In her short time on this earth, Vicky dedicated her life to raising a wonderful young man. Her pride in Zachary's accomplishments, talents and kindness was well known and will never be forgotten.
Vicki is also survived by her seven siblings; Claudia Zatorski and husband, Dana, Ernest Girard and wife, Gloria, Nelson Girard and wife, Mary Jo, Keith Girard and wife, Joann, Wendy Savoie and husband, Ronald, Victor Cholewa Jr and wife, Debra, Dannie Cholewa and wife, Terry. Vicky also leaves her dear friend John Delimiter and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She will always be remembered as fun loving and adventurous. Vicki attended Griswold Public Schools and earned her Associates degree from Three Rivers Community College.
Many fond memories of Vicky include snowmobiling and four wheeling trips to Maine, family parties held at her homes in Westerly and most importantly, her kind heart. While we are sad in her passing, we rejoice in the memories. The Cholewa family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday evening, from 4-7 p.m., at the Buckler-Johnston Funeral Home, 121 Main St., Westerly, R.I. A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 11 a.m. at Fort Shantok Burial Grounds, Massapeag Side Road, Montville, CT.
