Robert F. Leach Sr., 70, of High Street, Ashaway, passed away at his home on Monday, June 17, 2013.
He was the son of the late John H. and Gladys D. Leach.
Robert worked as a machinist supervisor for Harris Graphics for many years until his retirement in the early '90s. He was a member of the Westerly BPOE Lodge No. 678 and the Lindhbrook Golf Course. He was also a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Europe from 1961-1964.
He will be sadly missed by his sons, Robert Leach Jr., of Bellevue, Wash.; and James Leach, of Westerly; his brother, John Leach, of Westerly; sisters, Jackie Brown, of Dade City, Fla.; and Dorothy Arnold, of Atlanta, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held today from 5-7 p.m. at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home Friday at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family. For online condolences, please go to
