Maurer (Hueckel) Virginia (Hueckel) Maurer, age 93, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Pickering House in Lancaster. Member of American Legion Auxiliary and Lady Lions of Millersport. Preceded in death by husband George, son James, parents Edward and Florence Hueckel, and brother Edward Hueckel. Survived by children, George (Becky), David (Diane), Ann (Dan) Smith; grandchildren, Jill Tait, Jamee (Shaun) Klein, Geoff Maurer, Jodi Maurer, Jimmy (Jennifer) Maurer, Amanda Maurer, Lyn (Shawn) Phillips; 16 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; nieces and nephews; and the loving staff at Sterling House of Lancaster. Moro (Glaub) Joan "Josie" Moro, age 88, Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Riverside Hospital. Born in Newark, Ohio attended St. Francis DeSales in Newark. Graduated from the Mt. Carmel School of Nursing. Retired from Mt. Carmel Hospital after 30 years where she worked as a surgical nurse and went on to finish her career in the newborn nursery. 60 year member of St. James the Less Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husband Joseph, her two infant sons and parents Florence and Joseph Glaub. Survived by children, Jerry (Mary) Moro, Cathy (Gerry) VonVille, Molly Johnson, Judy (Matt) Powers and Patty (Mic) Gordon; grandchildren, Trina (Pat) Soller, Antoinette (Tom) Knoble, Margaret (Mike) McDonald, Amber (Scott) Dills, Meghan (Adam) Smith, Leslie (Pat) Hanlon, Jack and Maggie Powers, Claire and Paige Gordon; eight great grandchildren. McCullough, Bettye F.  
McCullough Bettye F. McCullough, age 88, of Brentwood, TN and formerly a longtime resident of Upper Arlington and Dublin, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 in Franklin, Tennessee. She was born July 21, 1927 in Nashville, TN, the only daughter to the late Paul Eugene and Addie (Stanfield) White. She will be dearly missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Scott P. and Sue McCullough, Newark, OH, Todd A. and Jana McCullough, Brentwood, TN and Mark P. and Tammy McCullough of Indianapolis, IN. Her eight grandchildren, Justin, John, Katie, Amy, Leah, Seth, Julianne and Andrew and great granddaughter, Avery also survive. Besides her parents, Bettye was preceded in death by her husband Paul V. McCullough, granddaughter Megan McCullough and three brothers Paul E., Milton and Deryl White. She was a graduate of David Lipscomb College in 1949 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. Bettye and her husband Paul were charter members of Fishinger and Kenny Church of Christ, where she was a former bible school teacher and a 50 year member. She loved to play the piano but more than anything she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who made her family a priority. Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Fishinger & Kenny Road Church of Christ, 1130 Fishinger Rd., Columbus, OH 43220, where family will receive friends after 9:30 a.m. Saturday until time of service. Interment to follow at Union Cemetery. Mustafa Teresa Mustafa, age 76, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Teresa was born in Czerwonka-Liwska, Poland to the late Waclaw Rowicki and Anastazja Koszewska. Teresa was a very kind and loving mother. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and nature. She had a special love for animals. McCleary Alice Louise Everett McCleary, 70, of Columbus, formerly of McDermott, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was born November 3, 1944 in Liberty, New York, a daughter of the late George and Madeline Stickle Everett of Neversink, NY. Alice was a retired freight bill screener for Cass Information Systems, a member of the James Dickey Post Auxiliary, and a 1962 graduate fo Tri-Valley Central High School in Grahamsville, New York. She is survived by one son, Robert (Carol) Bassett of Warner Robins, Georgia; one daughter, Debbie (Bryan) Oberting of Columbus; two grandchildren, Emily A. Bassett and Stephen C. Bassett; one great granddaughter, Sarah; and one sister-in-law, Betty Everett of Neversink, New York. She was also preceded in death by her husband Chester McCleary July 29, 2000 and one brother Raymond Everett. Graveside service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 in Scioto Burial Park with Rev. Peter Michael officiating. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at the McKINLEY FUNERAL HOME in Lucasville. McBride, Robert A.  
McBride Robert A. McBride, age 72, passed away August 12, 2015 at Heartland of Dublin. Bob was the son of Virginia and the late Harold S. McBride. He graduated from Worthington High School in 1961 and The Ohio State University in 1966. Along the way, he discovered Brutus and Elvis. At graduation, Bob was commissioned a Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Reserve on Active Duty and began his life-long service to country from Key West to Korea and back. Following active duty, Bob returned to Central Ohio and served in the Army Reserve. He attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. In Central Ohio, Bob worked for Columbus Air Corporation and Liebert Corporation in national and international sales, and while living in Northern Virginia he was a co-owner of EPS and concluded his life's-work in real estate sales. Bob is survived by his mother, Virginia; sister, Patti (Mike) Minister; brother, Mike (Linda); a daughter, Jackie (Dustin) Losey; sons, Scott (April), Justin, Matthew (Corrine) Fendrich; and seven grandchildren. Bob waged a courageous two and a half year battle with Leukemia. As a lasting tribute to his service in the Armed Forces, Bob and his family ask you to consider a contribution to the Wounded Warrior Project: Woundedwarriorproject.org A Memorial Service will be held at the Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High Street, Worthington, Ohio on Sunday, August 30 at 3 p.m. Family members will greet friends an hour before the service. A celebration of life reception will be announced at the service.
