Kain Ed A. Kain, Jr., age 63, of Lewis Center, OH, passed away suddenly April 26, 2015 at home. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda; children, Kimberly (Megan) Kain, Kevin Kain and Kyle Kain; brothers, Stephen (Mary Ann) Kain and Robert (Pat) Kain; sister, Susan (Ron) Fisher; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Edward and Eleanor Kain. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 7 p.m. Pastor Dan Hamilton, officiating.

Kanode Imogene (Mueller) Kanode, passed away peacefully in her sleep. She leaves behind her family and countless friends to cherish her memory. Memorial will be held on May 2 at 2 p.m., St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City, OH 43123. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's. Kerber, Jacques Carl  
Kerber Jacques Carl Kerber, August 12, 1944-March 3, 2015. The Celebration of Life for "Capt. Jack" will be held on May 3, 2015, at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The Celebration will take place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. in The Veridian, The Grove and The Bride's Garden. An honorary toast will be given at 1 p.m. The Conservatory's exhibits will also be open to guests attending the Celebration. www.fpconservatory.org . Valet parking will be available at the entrance of The Veridian for the Celebration. The burial will take place May 4, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio. Kester, Robert E.  
Kester Robert E. Kester, age 85, of Columbus, Ohio, died April 25, 2015 at Kobacker House. Born June 1, 1929 in Farmersburg, Indiana to the late Lesta and Vern Kester. Graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Served in the United States Army 1952-1954. He was employed by North American Rockwell/Boeing where he worked on projects such as Vigilante, the Space Shuttle, and the B-1 Bomber. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley; daughters, Karen (Keith) Diehl, Lynn (Andy) Hershberger, Lisa (Greg) Schmitt; son, Richard; three grandsons, Garrett, Connor and Bryson Schmitt; brother, Kermit. Kilbarger, Cora L.  
Kilbarger Cora L. Kilbarger, 82, of Lancaster, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Pickering House. She was born on September 20, 1932 in Lancaster to the late James J. and Eva (Alexander) Amspaugh. Cora worked at Head Start and was a cosmetologist. Cora was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and a life member of the Terry Webb Memorial VFW 1516 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a very active room mother for Talmadge School for many years and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Cora is survived by her husband of 64 years, Dick Kilbarger; children, Linda Patterson, Cindy (Robert) Painter, Cheryl (William) Lott, Richard (Jane) Kilbarger, Douglas (Penny) Kilbarger; grandchildren, Christina Melson, Gregory Painter, Alex Kilbarger, Joshua (Krissi) Kilbarger, Zachary Kilbarger; great grandchildren, Jacob Melson and Jackson Painter; brother, Orville (Wilma) Amspaugh. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters. Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Fr. Thomas Kessler as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME with a VFW Ladies Auxiliary service at 7:15 p.m. and a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Bernadette Catholic Church or the Pickering House. Kissling Julia V. Kissling, age 99, of Upper Sandusky, and formerly of Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at 3:40 p.m. at the Fairhaven Community in Upper Sandusky. Survived by a son, Glenn (Melanie) Kissling of London, OH.; and a daughter-in-law, Karen Kissling of Fredericktown, OH.; and seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and a sister, Muriel Brown. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 24, at the Nevada Lutheran Church, Nevada, Ohio. Visitations will be held from from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday at the LUCAS-BATTON FUNERAL HOME, 401 S. Main St., Nevada, OH 44849, and 1 hour before service time at the church on Friday.

Knight Kenneth Pipkins Knight, 52, born March 8, 1963 in Toledo, OH passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in Columbus, OH. A long time resident of Columbus, he grew up in the Long Street and Woodland area. A son, a brother, and a friend to all, he was always willing to help in any way he could. Kenneth showed great concern for his loved ones. His passion in life was being a big brother to J.D. Jr. He will be remembered for his selflessness, integrity, and wit. Predeceased by mother Martha Hazel Shavers, grandparents Jefferson and Leatha Knight, Johnny and Ruby Shavers, and cousin Leatha Lee. Survived by loving father, J.D. Knight, Sr.; stepmother, Victoria Knight; brothers, Jefferson, Charles, J.D. Jr., and Marcellis; sister, Manya; nephew, Abram; niece, Nicole; sister-in-law, Bobbi Joe; aunt, Susan Lee Hill; cousins, Nancy, Dana, Tammy and Charmin. Knilans, Richard S.  
Knilans Richard S. Knilans, age 91, of Harbor Hills, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015, at his residence. Born and raised in Columbus, the son of Alfred Sidney and Bernice (Meyers) Knilans. Preceded in death by his parents, sister Patricia Kramer and brother Michael J. Knilans. Survived by his wife of 72 years, Lorna; children: son, Randy (Patty) Knilans, daughter, Kyle Knilans. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Rebecca (Jack) Gilchrist and Bradley Knilans; great grandchildren, Keegan and Liam Gilchrist; sister, Barbara Wetzel; and many special nieces and nephews. Dick was a graduate of the Columbus Public Schools, attended Capital University and graduated from Ohio State in 1949. Proud veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps #392 Bomber group, Wendling Air Base, Norfolk, England. Dick spent 40 years in the insurance industry. Longtime member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church where he served as a Deacon and on the Board of Trustees. He enjoyed home remodeling, woodworking, his automobiles, music and shooting a hole-in-one in the many years of golfing. He was privileged to attend Honor Flight in 2012. The family would like to thank Dick's caregivers Tammy and Whitney, the thoughtful neighbors at Harbor Hills and close friends Tom and Marty. Kunz Joseph Kunz Jr., 94, of Westerville, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Edgewood Manor. He was born March 28, 1921 in Columbus, son of the late Joseph and Edith Clark Kunz Sr. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his wife Kathryn Whitten Kunz, son David Kunz, brothers Frank, Vernon, Charles and John Kunz, sister Martha Scowden. He served in the Army during WWII. Joseph is survived by his sons, Daniel J. (Ellen) Kunz and Donald M. Kunz; daughter, Carolyn (Ronald) Thomann; grandchildren, Danny, Angie, Kathy, Tammy, Cindy, Dusty, Jacob, Rachael, Nick, Cierra, Maci, Erin, Sami, Penny; great grandchildren, J.J., Jacoby and Hunter.
