Waggoner James Waggoner, age 99, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 in Columbus. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps. WWII. Retired from Weirton Steel Co. and he enjoyed vacationing, especially cruises, fishing and loved OSU football. Preceded in death by wife Mary Hilda, brothers Francis and Henry. Survived by his daughters, Judith (Michael Sisinger), Janice Blackburn and Nancy Waggoner; granddaughter, Aimee Sisinger; nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research.

Walker Fred A. Walker, 91, passed on Thursday, January 22, 2015. A loving husband, father, grandfather, friend. US Army Veteran. Retired from Columbia Gas and State of Ohio. Member of the Oakley Full Gospel Baptist Deacon Board. Preceded in death by wife Gladys, son Howard, parents Moses and Magnolia Walker. Survived by loving and devoted daughter, Patricia G. Walker Mullins. Walker, Nancy G.  
Walker Nancy G. Walker, of Columbus, OH and owner of Nan Walker Upholstery with over 25 years of service. August 26, 1954 - January 26, 2015. Preceded in death by parents Ruby Yeager and Edward Walker. Survived by loved ones, Dick Biggs of 26 years; cousins, Sue and Bill Lowe, Jason, Hana and Jenna Lowe, Stacey Lowe and Jason Patterson; best friend, Maryellen Thompson. Graduated from Cuyahoga Falls High School, Class of 1972. Completed her Art Major from The University of Akron. She was a longtime employee of Cio's Restaurant. Her signature craft was embedded in the excellent talent and skilled artwork of her upholstery. Nancy will be sadly missed. A private memorial service will be held in her honor. Ward, Gerald Franklin "Jerry"  
Ward Gerald (Jerry, Gramps) Franklin Ward, age 82, passed away on January 22, 2015. He was born on August 24, 1932 in Ironton, Ohio to the late Everett and Gertrude (Fleming) Ward. Jerry graduated from Ironton High School in 1950 where he met his wife, Doris. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1952 during the Korean War. Jerry married his best friend "Sis" in 1953 in Ironton. He attended The Ohio State University and Ohio Technical College where he earned his AA degree in 1969. He retired from Battelle Memorial Institute after 38 years. Jerry loved the Buckeyes, his boat on Buckeye Lake, his wine, and his cowboy boots. He is survived by his wife, Doris; his children, Daryl (Anita) Ward, Elizabeth (Keith) Yantes; his grandchildren, Erica and Jacqueline Ward, Alexandra (Jacob) Costell; and his brother, Ronald (Karen) Ward. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and his sisters Genevieve Hafle and Marguerite Hartwig. There will be no funeral service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Any contribution can be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or Selma Markowitz Care Center at Licking Memorial Hospital. Warning, William K. "Bill"  
Warning William K. "Bill" Warning, age 86, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 22, 2015. He was born February 9, 1928 in Lockbourne, Ohio to the late Stanley and Charlotte (Stewart) Warning. Bill served over 22 years in the United States Air Force before retiring. After his military retirement, he owned and operated Ashland Service Station until his retirement from there in the mid-nineties. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Juanita "Lib" Warning; daughter, Susan (Jeff) Moore; three grandchildren, Kayla (Derrick) Carl, and Karla and Troy Moore; several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; three step-granddaughters, Carla (Brian) Cox, Cindy Campbell, and Courtney (Jerry) Nichols; seven step-great grandchildren; several step-great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Judith (Raymond) Strickland and Jean Strickland; and dear friend and caregiver, Shirley Adkins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Benny Warning, a sister Bonnie Chattoes, an infant sister and stepson Edward "Buck" Collins. Friends may call Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. at the LEWIS & GILLUM FUNERAL HOME of Oak Hill. A service will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Elza Green officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery. Wechsler Oscar Wechsler, age 88, passed away on January 28, 2015. Preceded in death by his parents Solomon and Chana Wechsler, wife Jean Wechsler, brother Erno Wechsler. He is survived by his cousins, Alice Klein and Gabor Klein. Oscar fought for Israel in the 1948 War of Independence. Weiser Martha I. Weiser, age 89, of Canal Winchester, OH, died on January 27, 2015. She was born on March 14, 1925 in Logan, OH to the late Virgil and Mary Stout. Martha enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and being outdoors. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bill Weiser, son Randy Wright, siblings Margaret, John, Patty, Bill and Tom. Survivors include her children, Ken (Marcy) Wright, Craig "Sandy" (Danielle) Wright, Jeff (Nora) Wright and Don (Pam) Wright; daughter-in-law, Joanne Wright; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jack, Joe, Betty, Sue, Katherine and Dorothy; and numerous nieces and nephews. Wellbaum John Marion Wellbaum, age 88, passed peacefully Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Veteran USMC, Purple Heart recipient. Werner James E. Werner, loving husband, father, grandfather and brother; born November 24, 1943 in Braddock, PA; currently resided in Hilliard, OH. Proud Marine Corps Veteran. Passed January 23, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital with his family by his side. Preceded in death by daughter Laura Werner, parents William Sr. and Ruth Werner. Survived by wife of 35 years, Mary; children, Edward (Jeri), Jenny (Bob) Seiffert, Randy "Ken" (fiancé, Jessica Mustar); grandchildren, Andrew, Nick, Megan, Colton, Cameron, Courtney, Carli, Marlena, and Cora; loving siblings; numerous nieces, nephews and devoted friends. Funeral Mass will be 12 noon, Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., in Hilliard, OH. Following the service, family receive friends at a memorial visitation from 3-6 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., in Hilliard, OH. Wesemeyer, Ruth Clara (Bartter)  
Wesemeyer Ruth Clara (Bartter) Wesemeyer passed away on January 22, 2015 at the age of 91. She was born July 9, 1923 and grew up on the family farm in Columbia Station, Ohio. She graduated from The Ohio State University in 1945 and on November 10, 1945 married Richard Wesemeyer (who predeceased her). For 27 years she was a school teacher in the Midview School System. Ruth lived in Grafton, OH for over 40 years, and after retirement moved to Naples, Florida, returning to Ohio each summer to visit her family and to attend the Chautauqua Institute at Lakeside, Ohio. In 2011 she moved to Wesley Glen Retirement Community in Columbus. Ruth is survived by brothers, Rowland Bartter of Naples, FL and Charles Bartter of Berea, OH; and by her sister, Helen Crocker of Bowling Green, KY; daughters, Susan Pumplin and Linda Pearce, both of Columbia, MD; son, Richard Wesemeyer of Grafton, OH; daughter, Wendy Wesemeyer of Columbus, OH; and son, Carl Wesemeyer of Grafton, OH; grandchildren, Elizabeth Steffke (deceased), Matthew and Timothy Pumplin, James and Susannah Pearce, Scott and Todd Wesemeyer, Kelly Wysocki, Jen Cheslik, Candice Vander Weerdt and Carlene Wesemeyer; great-grandchildren, Emily, Hannah and Madeline Steffke, Story Pumplin, Carson and Graeme Pearce, Ricki, Stanley and Eli Wesemeyer, Jasmine and Daisy Wesemeyer, Morgan and Chelsea Wysocki, Nora Cheslik, and Colin Vander Weerdt. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, February 7th at 2 p.m. at the Wesley Glen Retirement Community.
