Ferguson Russell L. Ferguson, age 90, of Hilliard, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2015. Born July 16, 1924 in Logan County, Ohio. Loving husband for 67 years to the late Winifred Jeffers Ferguson; devoted father of Debbie (Matt) Cox, Tom (Betty Blau), Carol (Greg) Godec, Matthew (deceased), Janice (Pat) Blubaugh; grandfather of Spencer (Erisa), James (Amber), Meredith (Pat), Jackie (Kevin), Joel (Kelsey), Nick , Leslie and Scott; great grandfather to Jesse, Dahlia, Jenna, Evan, Stella and Reagan; loving brother-in-law to Ruth Pekar and Ivaleen Jeffers. Russ is preceded in death by his parents Arley and Elva (Frey) Ferguson, brother Verle (Betty) and sister Vidah (Marvin) Coulter, brother-In-law to the following deceased: Wanda (Allen) Pyers, Wilma (Harry) Winkler, Selma (Don) Royer, Frank Pekar, Jim (Margret) Jeffers, Bernard Jeffers, Naida (Al) Larson; and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Russ was a Submariner in WWII serving in the Pacific theater. Electrical contractor by profession, always giving his time and skills to friends. Russ had been involved at church for many years. Ford Jr. Jerry L. Ford, Jr., of Dublin, OH, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (nee Adkins), parents Gerry and Mabel Ford and sister Nancy Currie. Survived by son, Jerry L. (Jane) Ford III; brother, Don (Rita) Ford; and sister, Peggy Stabe. Fye, Nancy Ellen (Van Orman)  
Fye (Van Orman) Nancy Ellen Fye (Van Orman), 50, went home to be with Jesus on May 13, 2015, with her family by her side in her home in Clinton, TN. Nancy was born April 28, 1965 to Lawrence S. and Dorothy (Humphrey) Van Orman in Columbus, Ohio. She was a 1984 graduate of Pickerington High School where she was a member of the band. She was a member of Crossroads Christ Fellowship Church and active in DOVE and Knoxville Aglow. Nancy also ministered to women in prison. She loved Jesus and the abundant life He gave her. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ed Fye; daughters, Lindsey Fye, Ashley (Zach) Faull; son, Ryan (Michelle) Fye; grandchildren, Dillon, Devon, and Drew Fye; father, Lawrence Van Orman; sisters, Kathy Harris, Barbie (Paul O'Toole) Heckman-O'Toole; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by mother Dorothy Van Orman, grandchildren Kayden Fye and Landon Fye. A semi-private burial was held Friday, May 15, 2015 at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN. A celebration of life was held at Crossroads Christ Fellowship Church in Powell, TN on May 16, 2015. We would like to thank all of Nancy's friends in Jesus who provided help to her and her family through her illness. Nancy fought a courageous battle with cancer, her faith never wavered. She was dearly loved and will be missed until we all meet again in Heaven.

Gaa, Leo R. "Joe"  
Gaa Leo R. "Joe" Gaa, age 83, of Orient, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 4, 1931. Joe was the owner of L.R. Gaa Door Company and a proud member of the NRA. He enjoyed the outdoors, animals and very much loved his grandchildren. He was a wonderful family man. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Gaa, mother Helen Davis and brother Charles Miller. Joe is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Wilma Gaa; children, Richard (Janet) Gaa, Randall Gaa, Rodney (Angela) Gaa, and Karen (Duane Roberts) Carr; grandchildren, Justin (Monika) Gaa, Tiffany Castano, Shane (Shana) Gaa, Tarah Gaa, Karrie (John) Shumate, Raven (Jonathan) Hammond, and Rachel (Kevin) Edwards; brother, James (Beverly) Dearth and brother-in-law, Robert (Betty) Kenworthy. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and other loving family. Joe never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him. Glass Robert S. Glass, age 100, passed away May 21, 2015. Member of Christ the King Church. He worked as foreman for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company for 42 years. Preceded in death by parents Augustus and Rose Glass and wife Margaret Glass. Survived by son, Tom; niece, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, May 23 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, 6440 South High Street. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Glick Sherrill E. Glick, 81, of Ashville, passed away at her residence surrounded by her three daughters. She was born on February 3, 1934 in Lithopolis, Ohio to the late Cecil and Famah (Weidner) Storts. She had worked at Teays Valley High School as a study hall monitor and the office for many years, also a graduate of Groveport H.S. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Ronald H. Glick on January 1, 2015, three brothers and one sister. Survived by daughters, Gaye (Raymond) Weaver of Georgia, Sue (Jack) Costlow of Ashville, and Jill (Rich) Gerber of Ashville; grandchildren, Sam Costlow, Ashley Roese, Abby (Dominic) Koah of Andrews AFB, and Jarrett Gerber; great grandson, Brody Koah; sisters, Margie Ackerman of Lancaster and Susie (Ken) Souder of Independence, KY; brothers, Duff Storts of Lancaster, and Keith (Erma) Storts of Canal Winchester; sister-in-law, Patsy Haines of Ashville; numerous nieces and nephews. Green Juanita Green, 97, fell asleep on May 13, 2015 while a resident of Scioto Community Res Home. Preceded in death by her husband John C. Green, parents Samuel and Mary Coates, brothers Johnnie, Sr. (Jessie Bell) Coates, Hezekiah Woody, Nehemiah Woody and Percy Woody, sisters Adelaide (General Scott)Johnson, Virginia (Lewis) Allen, Lucy Mae (Thomas) Scott, Katherine Woody, Pear (Leon) Gaines and Ella (James) Lane. Grubb, Richard Lee (Dick)  
Grubb Richard (Dick) Lee Grubb, 79, of London died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his residence. Born in Columbus, Ohio February 26, 1936 to the late William Franklin and Florence (Puckett) Grubb he had worked as a Carpenter for Local Union 200 for more than 35 years and was a life member of the American Legion # 105 and served his country in the US Army during the Korean War gaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He is survived by his children, Susan (Kerry) Hill, Debbie (Bryant) Ireland, Teresa (David) Ireland, Wanda (Robin) Jordan; and daughter-in-law, Lisa Grubb-Roberts; sibling, Helen Grubb; uncle, Wilbur Dean Grubb; 15 grandchildren; and 25 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Etta V (Baldwin) Grubb, sons Richard Lee Grubb, Edward Eugene Grubb, and Richard Eugene Grubb and siblings Billy and Paul Grubb and Carrie Rannebarger. Hartman, Fred O.  
Hartman Dr. Fred O. Hartman, age 99, of Worthington, died peacefully May 21, 2015. Professor Emeritus of horticulture, The Ohio State University. Vet. WWII, U.S. Army where he served as a medical technician assigned to the 6th Armored Division attaining the rank of Captain. Dr. Hartman was a 1937 graduate of The University of Toledo earning a BS degree receiving his MS degree in Horticulture and PhD in Horticulture and specialty in Pomology from The Ohio State University from where he retired in 1983 after 42 years of teaching and research. Preceded in death by first wife Margaret Older Hartman, and wife Joan Guthery Hartman, brother Wayne G. (Margaret) Hartman and nephew Brian Lehman. Survived by his daughter, Sharon (Christopher) Bartkus; grandchildren, Christopher R. Bartkus and Chelsea (Ryan) Bartkus Chaney, all of Florida; three nieces and a nephew; many grand-nieces and nephews. Member of Worthington Presbyterian Church; life member of Ohio Fruit Growers Society; American Society for Horticultural Science; tropical Region of the American Horticultural Society; honorary member of Sigma Xi and Gamma Sigma Delta; OSU Faculty Photographic Society; life member of the OSU Alumni Assoc., and the OSU Faculty Club.
