Beckett Viola Beckett, age 75, went to be with the Lord January 25, 2015. Preceded in death by son Russell and granddaughter Oma Lee Justice. Survived by sons, Brady (Barb) and Mickey (Anita); grandchildren, Brandon Beckett, Britney (David) Arthur, Carl (Jeanetta) Becket, Tabitha (Trevor) Stevens, and T.J. Stevens; great-grandchildren, Mahliki, Jace, Kyra, Kirsten, Tamera, Shaniah, Josh, Alexis, Deanna; many nieces and nephews; friends and family. Viola was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to many. She lived her life for the Lord. Cincione, Julia "Judi"  
Cincione Julia "Judi" Cincione, age 80, left home to be with the Lord, January 28, 2015, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. A lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio, Judi touched many lives. She was an active member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and volunteered with the Adult Education program, the Altar and Rosary Society and Women's Club. A woman of strong faith, she was an LCHS Lady Commander of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. Judi was also active in Grandview Heights' civic, senior and parks and recreation activities, including the annual Pumpkin Run. For many years she danced with the Bella Tappers and she was a well-recognized neighborhood walker who also loved to play tennis, swim, do yoga and play with her grandchildren and darling dog, Pippin. Judi was a proud graduate of St. Joseph Academy and The Ohio State University, where she worked for several years. She also held positions at The League of Women Voters and the Diocese of Columbus. She was proud of her service as a grass roots volunteer for many causes and was a member of the Franklin County Democratic Women's Club. Judi was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Alphonse "Al" Cincione; daughters, Catherine and Theresa Cincione; son, Matthew (Karen) Cincione; grandchildren, Nicholas Chaney, Alison (Chris) Hoag, Adam, Cara and Aaron Cincione; sisters, Rosemarie (Terry) Yurasek and Patricia (Patty) Gardner, and many nieces and nephews and godchildren. She is preceded in death by parents Charles and Lorna (Snider) Core, siblings and in-laws, Joe Yurasek, Charles (Chuck) and Virginia (Ginny) Gilligan, Thomas and Eva Core and Howard Gardner. Special thanks to Judi's generous and attentive caregiver Katie Yoder of National Church Residences. Family will receive friends on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43212. Celebration of Life Mass will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 10 a.m., at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1420 Grandview Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212. Culpepper Sr., Tommy  
Culpepper Tommy Culpepper, Sr., age 65, went home to be with the Lord on January 29, 2015 at Echo Manor Nursing Home. Predeceased by wife Barbara Culpepper, parents Ulyssis and Elizabeth Culpepper, daughter Stacey Ann Culpepper and brothers Charles and Charlie Culpepper. Survived by loving family, children, Andre Culpepper, Tommy Culpepper, Jr., Barbara (Kamva) Makuta, Bobby Culpepper, and Shaunae Culpepper; brother, James Culpepper; sisters, Ann Culpepper and Glinda Culpepper; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Family will receive friends 4 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2015 and Memorial service begins at 5 p.m. in the chapel 1166 Parsons Ave. (sign reads Edwards). Gartenberg, Julie Raica  
Gartenberg Julie Raica Gartenberg, age 65, from Atlantic Highlands, NJ (originally from Westerville, OH), died Friday, January 23, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. She graduated from Westerville High School in 1967, and attended Muskingum College where she graduated cum laude. She worked over the years in a number of professional positions but most recently, she and her beloved late husband Michael Gartenberg, operated a massage practice and products business in Red Bank, NJ. Julie is survived by her mother, Sylvia Raica; her sister, Lauree Raica; and her brother, George Raica. She is pre-deceased by her husband Michael Gartenberg and father Robert A. Raica. Julie worked as a community arts organizer for the past 10 years and served as Atlantic Highlands Arts Council President, as well as Co-Founder and Co-Director of FilmOneFest (the international one-minute film festival). She dearly loved her community, friends, and family and was very grateful for the many wonderful times they shared together. A memorial service is expected to be held in May 2015 in Atlantic Highlands, NJ. Details will be announced at a future date. Donations may be made to the Atlantic Highlands Arts Council and FilmOneFest in Julie's honor (AHAC, PO Box 236, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716).

Gerhold, Charles Wayne  
Gerhold Charles Wayne Gerhold, passed away at home on Saturday, January 24, 2015 after a long illness in loving care of his family. Born August 6, 1937 to Lewis Wayne and Eleanor (Hupp) Gerhold, in Parkersburg, West Virgina. Retired printer from The Columbus Dispatch after 37 years, proud member of the International Typographical Union. Charles was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, loved to watch football games with his family, enjoyed his fishing trips in the West Virginia mountains with friends. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His smile and great big hugs will be missed by all. Charles never met a stranger and was always the first to help anyone that needed a hand. His generous and charitable heart gave Charles many good friends. Preceded in death by his parents, beloved infant daughter Cathy Sue, grandson Joseph Charles Friend and sister-in-law Gloria Gerhold. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn; daughters, Kimberly Goble, Susan (Alan) King, Karen (Guy) Tolliver and Cheryl (Eric) Williams; grandchildren, Ryan, Cassandra, Jennifer, Angela, Elizabeth, Tiffany, Carolyn, Austen and Natalie; and great-grandchildren, Bradley, Pirate, Julian and Kyra; brother, Clinton; and many other family members; special friend, Gus Ruzicka. Harkless, Eugene Frederick  
Harkless Eugene Frederick Harkless, age 91, of Hilliard, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 24, 1924 to the late John and Katherine Harkless. Eugene served the in the United States Army Air Corp as an engineer and aviator during WWII and was a part of the first 100 members of Experimental Aircraft. He retired from Zettler Hardware where he dedicated 45 years as a manager. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Regina, second wife Rebecca, son Bob and siblings Ralph, Katherine, John, Edith, Harold, and Dave. He is survived by his children, Debra Harkless, William (Roberta) Harkless, Anthony (Darlene) Harkless, Marie Wright, and Alan (Terrie) Harkless; step-daughter, Haydee (Richard) Wilson; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Friends may call on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 10 a.m.-12Noon at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 East Livingston Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. Higginbotham Helen R. Higginbotham, age 98, born December 16, 1916, passed away January 25, 2015. Preceded in death by her parents A.B. and Gracie Cole, spouse I.G. Higginbotham, infant daughter Patricia, and daughter Harriet (Susie) Sparks, two sisters Mary Lou and Margaret and three brothers Oscar, Marvin and Jack. Survived by two daughters, Mary Jane (Johnny) Lester and Nancy P. (Paul) Smith; son-in-law, Lucian D. Sparks; eight grandchildren, Ken (Celeste), Keith (Deanna), Kim (Matt), Kelli (Bob), Allen (Julie), Lutricia, Martin (Donna) and Phil; 12 great grandchildren, Grayson, Grace, Jonathan, Nicholas, Keagan, Casey, Ryan, Haley, Samantha, Colette, Lydia and Adam; nephews, (Her Boys) Jim (Janet) Lester, Ronnie (Pat) Lester and John (Kim) Lester and their families; five nieces, Betsy, Sara, Jymme, Barbara, Tammy and their families.
