Clinton Leon Roese

Roese Clinton Leon Roese, age 86 of Columbus, passed away March 17, 2013. Clinton was born and raised in South Bloomfield, Ohio, son of the late Alex and Hazel Roese. Also preceded in death by his first wife Verlie Roese, brothers Carl and Alex Roese Jr., and sister Zelda Hammond. Clinton proudly enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during WWII. He retired from Rockwell. Clinton was a loveable Christian man who read the bible daily and looked at the bright side of life. He was a hard worker who enjoyed the outdoors and was most happy spending time in Florida. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Charlene Roese; children, Michael (Shirley) Turjanica, Charles Turjanica, Bernice (Norman) Thivener, Norma Jean (Terry) Haldeman, Brenda Murphy, Deborah Cornell, and Tamara (Wayne) Ford; 21 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; two great great granddaughters; sister, Gladys Carpenter, and many other extended family members and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., where family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. Sunday.
