David Solomon Hill

Hill David Solomon Hill, 32, of Blacklick, Ohio, formerly of Jeannette died Tuesday, March 25, 2014. He was born June 14, 1981 in Greensburg, a son of David Hill of Jeannette and Sheri Grubb and her husband Frank, also of Jeannette. He worked as a Laborer for J&D Basement Doctors. He was a member of First Christian Church of Greensburg, Grapeville Fire Dept., and Sheffield Rod & Gun Club. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Dan Danielson, father-in-law Richard W. Marshall, brother-in-law Jonathan P. Marshall and nephew Richard Jonathan Marshall. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his wife, Heather Marshall Hill of Blacklick, OH; two sisters, Stefanie Elliott and her husband, Brian of Jeannette, and Heather Pierce and her husband, Randy of Monroeville; paternal grandparents, Charles and Sandra Hill of Jeannette; maternal grandparents, Joyce Danielson of Greensburg and Terry O'Brien of VA; step-sister, Megan Grubb; and step-brother, Stephen Grubb, both of Jeannette; mother-in-law, Cecelia Marshall of Jeannette; brother-in-law, Richard Marshall and his wife, Jennifer of Jeannette; cousin, Jeremy Neidigh and his wife, Mandy of Adamsburg; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the MASON-GELDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 201 N. First St., Jeannette. A funeral service will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Renny Domske officiating. Interment will follow in St. Boniface Cemetery, Irwin.
