Juanita Hildreth

Hildreth Juanita Hildreth, 83 years old, was born on March 1, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio. Juanita passed away peacefully at home on a sunny day surrounded by nature and its beauty, while gardening on May 15, 2013. Juanita was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John and her parents Frank and Ena DeRose. Juanita grew up in Columbus, OH, and graduated from Bexley High School. She later attended The Ohio State University, majoring in art, which was a passion that she enjoyed throughout her life. Other passions included cooking, bird watching, ceramics, oil painting, homemaking, and spending time with her family. Juanita and John raised their family in Lithopolis, OH where Juanita was a member of Lithopolis United Methodist Church. Juanita leaves her son, Ray Hildreth; daughter, Christy Hildreth and her partner, Clifford Shorkey; granddaughter, Kyla Ratliff and her partner, Barry Press; twin brother and sister-in-law, Victor and Connie DeRose; brothers-in-law, Larry and Betty Hildreth, and Stephen Hildreth; sister-in-law, Juanita and Donald Robb; cousins; many good friends; and special pets, Miss Kitty and Ginger. Please join our family in a celebration of Juanita's life that will take place at DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 West Waterloo Street, Canal Winchester on Monday, May 20, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Russ Tichenor officiating.
