Juanita L. Farley

Farley Juanita L. Farley, a longtime resident of Columbus, passed away peacefully at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor on Friday, March 22, 2013. Mrs. Farley was born Juanita Rusch in Port Byron (Cayuga County) New York on September 21, 1915. She and her husband, Robert J. Farley, were married in in Port Byron in 1940 and they were married for sixty-eight years when he passed away in 2008. They had one child, Robert, Jr. ("Bobby"), who also predeceases her. All of Mrs. Farley's siblings have passed away. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and by a close family friend, Clayton Cook of Columbus. They resided in Bexley for over six decades and were members of the Christ the King parish during that time. The Farley's were deeply involved with the Good Shepherd Manor in Wakefield, Ohio, where their son resided for many years. They also strongly supported fund raising efforts to benefit disabled children, including the Golden Angels Ball in Columbus and Ohio Special Olympics. She and Bob also were active in the Bexley Senior Citizens Activities Club and enjoyed the trips sponsored by the Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Joseph Chapel at Mother Angeline McCrory Manor, 5199 E. Broad St., on Monday at 10 a.m., where there will be visitation from 9 a.m. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements by EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E BROAD ST.
