Nancy Ann (Pendleton) Evans

EVANS Nancy Ann (Pendleton) Evans, born September 30, 1929, in Springfield, Ohio, died on November 28, 2012, in Columbus, Ohio. She was a 1947 graduate of Springfield High School and a 54-year resident of Upper Arlington. Nancy was a member of the Worthington Senior Center Bridge Group, the ACBL, and the Columbus Bridge Center. She made many friends through Bridge over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Opal (Chase) Pendleton, brother Jack Pendleton and sister Shirley Sawyer. Nancy is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Earl Evans; children, Steve (Terri) Evans, and Ken (Cathy) Evans; grandchildren, Tori Evans, Betsy (Ryan) Boles, and Katie Evans; brother, Joe (Rita) Pendleton; sisters, Priscilla (Paul) Aquilino, and Becky Lippencott; sister-in-law, Helen Pendleton; brother-in-law, John Sawyer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks for the care and support to her many new friends among the patients and staff at Altercare of Hilliard. Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
