Theodore Hord Prindle

Prindle Theodore Hord Prindle, passed away on November 12, 2013; he was 91 years old. Ted was a graduate of Central High School in Columbus, Ohio: the city of his birth. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. After the war he attended The Ohio State University. He co-founded the Columbus based architectural firm, Titus and Prindle, in 1957. Numerous iterations of the firm's leadership resulted in a progression of firm names, including; Ted H. Prindle & Associates, Prindle & Patrick, and Prindle Associates, Inc. In 1966 Ted started a branch office in Clearwater, FL, where he moved to permanently in 1971. He retired in 1988 and enjoyed taking an occasional cruise. Ted was preceded in death by his father William E. Prindle, his mother Francis B. Prindle, his brother Lt. William F. Prindle USAF, his late wife L. Joan Prindle of 44 years, and late wife Margaret Prindle of 18 years. He is survived by his daughter, Cyndee Krumholz; sons, William, Bradford, Theodore and Barry; and step-daughter Penny Haney. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. Ted will be remembered as a generous father, a loving husband who provided tender care for two wives as their lives were coming to an end, and for his incredible wit and sense of humor that he carried to his final days. Services and burial will be in Clearwater, Florida. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ted's memory to the Hospice organization of the donor's choosing.
