Julian (Giuliani) Vincent Joseph Julian, age 83, of Columbus, OH, entered into eternal rest on June 29, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. Born on July 6, 1929 in Columbus, OH, he was the oldest son of five children born to Pietro and Giovanna Giuliani (Julian). Graduating from Linden McKinley High School in 1947 he joined the U.S. Army
and achieved the rank of Corporal before being honorably discharged in 1951. Vince worked for the Pennsylvania and CONRAIL railroads before retiring in 1982. A loving and dedicated family man, he and his wife Teresa recently celebrated 60 years of marriage and their 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren were one of the greatest joys of his life. He took great pride in their residence in the north end of Columbus and enjoyed having family over for visits and parties. He is preceded in death by his parents Pietro and Giovanna Giuliani (Julian), brother Peter Giuliani and brother-in-law Ted Burnett. He is survived by his wife, Teresa (Piccininni) Julian; sister, Joann (George) Paesano, brother, Dominic (Janet) Julian; sister, Betty Burnet; children, Joseph (Lori) Giuliani, Joann (Thomas) Spain, Barbara (Joseph) Bargdill, Mary (David) Whitacre, James (Mary) Giuliani; grandchildren, Anna, Sara, Enrique, Molly, Frankie, Megan, Katie, Angela, Nathanael, Maria, Joseph, Brandon, Elizabeth, Shane, Luke and Michael; and five great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be today at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., from 5-8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. James the Less Church. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Vince did not know a stranger and had a very giving and loving heart.
