Louis Keen Obituary

KEEN Louis E. "Louie" Keen, age 66, of Columbus, OH, passed away February 28, 2011 at Odyssey House. He was born February 26, 1945 in Columbus and attended Franklin Heights High School. Louie retired from General Motors with 38 years of faithful service and was a member of United Auto Workers Local 969. He is survived by his mother, Mazie Keen; children, Richard (Laura) Keen and Kristina (Tom) Keen-Cronin; grandchildren, Sam, Ben and Christian Keen; step-grandchildren, Elise, Dan and Julia Cronin; Aunt Beverly Buskirk; and his beloved dog, Prince. He was preceded in death by his father Louis E. Keen, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 6 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43204, where friends and family will gather from 2-3 p.m. Rev. Jim Blankenship, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 in his memory.
