Acimovic Anthony "Tony" J. Acimovic, age 61, went peacefully to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday January 28, 2014. Volunteered with the Buckeye Lake Fire Department and also worked at the Port Columbus Fire Department. Former owner of Capital City Corvettes, Street Creations and Automotive Perspectives. Tony loved the outdoors, photography and gardening, but especially riding his Harley. Preceded in death by father Stanko, sister Katie and grandparents Stephan and Katica. Survived by the love of his life, his daughter, Brittney 'Boogie' (Nate); mother, Eva; sisters, Rose McManes and Vicky (Gary) Hartig; former wife and friend, Wendy; nieces and nephews, Jason and Laura Hartig, Joe, Ben and Michael McManes, Kristin McManes Mitchell, Sarah Ward; numerous great nieces and great nephews; close friends and circle of brothers, Ken, Mike, Randy, Jimmy, Fred and Pete. Family will receive friends Saturday 2-6 p.m. at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St., where service will be held 5pm Saturday. Burial later at St. Joseph Cemetery.
