Blankenship Arvil D. Blankenship, age 73, of Plain City, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, March 18, 2014 at his residence. Born January 2, 1941 in Logan, West Virginia. Arvil is now with his Lord and Savior. Longtime member of Living Waters Church of God and current member of Christian Life Church. Preceded in death by his parents Cletis and Jessie (Adams) Blankenship, sister Audrey Nelson. Survived by his loving and caring wife of 53 years: Dorothy (Smith) Blankenship; four children, Robert (Mari) Blankenship, Arvil Lee (Becky) Blankenship, Robin (Jimmie) Loy, Janet (Terry) Yates; grandchildren, Amethyst, Robert Tyler, Andrea, Deidra, Cory (Cecily), Seth and Zachary Blankenship, Jimmie (Kristin), Jeremiah (Amanda), Joseph (Kayleigh) Loy, Jacob (Abby), Joshua (Leanndra) Yates; two darling great-grandchildren, Teagin James Loy, Theodore Lee Yates, nieces and nephews; dear friends, Warren and Juanita Purtee. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014 with Funeral Service at 8 p.m., FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main St. (Rt. 161W), Plain City. Pastor Bud Mulford officiating.
