Bradford Betty Lee Collins Bradford, 80 of Oak Hill, life-long resident of Columbus, died Friday, February 15, 2013. Survived by son, Jeff (Marie) Bradford, Oak Hill; two granddaughters, Shannon and Kendra; five great-grand-children, Corey, Aiden, Cadence, Lilly and Vivian; her dear friends and all animals of the world. She requested no viewing or services. As a lifelong friend of the animals, it's their community where she will be missed the most. Whether fighting lobbyists or hunters to save morning doves, to feeding the strays in the dark recesses of the city, the gentle care of nursing a new born kitten,or invading crack houses to rescue animals, she always placed animal needs above her own. In order to best honor her memories please care for an animal in need or make a contribution in her honor to either the Home Care Mobile Veterinary Service (Dr. Ken Nekic), 902 Hohawk St., Columbus, OH 43206 or the Jackson Co. Humane Society. Cremation services by CREMEENS FUNERAL CHAPEL, Gallipolis, Oh.
