LIPKIN Beverly J. (Gilliam) Lipkin, 73, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on Monday, December 10, 2012. She was born September 14, 1939 in Columbus and was a graduate of East H.S. She attended Columbus Barber College and also was a trained Licensed Practical Nurse. Beverly was a long-time member of New Covenant Believers' Church where she served in various ministries. Preceded in death by her parents John and Bertha Gilliam, brothers John Gilliam, Powell Gilliam, and Raymond Brown and former husband Leonard Lipkin. Beverly will be missed by her loving sons, Timothy (Phyllis) Lipkin and Howard (Portia) Lipkin; grandson, Caleb; siblings, Blanche (Rich) Givens, Juanita (Ted) Strickland, Elsie Stevens, and Louis (Paris) Gilliam; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012 at New Covenant Believers' Church, 3400 Kohr Blvd., Columbus, where family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of the service, Bishop Howard Tillman, officiating. Interment at Kingwood Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in Beverly's memory to the , 3740 Ridgemill Dr., Hilliard, OH 43026.
