Gibbs Branden M. Gibbs, age 29, suddenly passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016. Born in Columbus, OH June 29, 1987, he was predeceased by his grandfather George S. Gibbs, Sr., great-grandmother Georgia Mae Smith, and great-aunt Lorraine "Mvua" Renteria. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Heidi Griffin; father, Galen (Karla) "Chip" Gibbs; sons, Brayden Gibbs and Branden Gibbs, Jr.; spouse, Tiffany York; step-children, Karmello Bowers, Mackenzie Bowers, and Malia Powers; grandmothers, Shirley Griffin and Sylvia Gibbs; grandfather, Ralph (Carmelita) Griffin; siblings, Galen "Alex" Gibbs, Jr., Lilliana Fulmer, Shardae Kelsor, Kandalyn (Dwain) Robinson; uncles, Adrian Garnes, George "Stan" Gibbs, and Jason (Monica) Griffin; aunts, Lisa Craig, Kira Douglass, and Kristi Burk. Very special friend, Ciara Powers. Special thanks to our family friend, Robin Nelson. Homegoing service 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St., where the family will receive friends 9 a.m. until the start of service. Interment in Glen Rest Memorial Estates.
