Royer Clifford Allen Royer, age 82, of Granville, died peacefully after a battle with cancer at the Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Mr. Royer was born in Orrville, Ohio on December 20, 1930 to the late Clarence and Ada (Fischer) Royer. He owned and operated the Lawn Surgeon Co. He is preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Nancy Royer and his brother Dale Royer. Clifford is survived by his daughter, Ann Royer (Duane Erlanbach) of Newark; sons, Allen (Sharon) Royer of Blacklick, Donald (Sherrie) Royer of Outville, and David (Holly) Royer of Pataskala; grandchildren, Stacey (Jim) Sellers, Matthew JoAnna) Royer, Stephanie (Brandon) Trathen, Christina, Madison, Mason, Megan Royer; and six great-grandchildren. He served his country during the Korean Conflict in the US Army, enjoyed wintering in Florida, was a life member of the VFW and American Legion, and a member of the 1st Southern Baptist Church of Johnstown. Friends may call at the KAUBER SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME in Pataskala on Monday, September 16, 2013 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Michael Rector officiating.
