WOOLEY Clyde E. Wooley, age 94, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2012. Longtime resident of Willow Brook Christian Village. Survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Suzanne (Bruno) Giordano, Marcia (Jim) Adams; Godson, Alexander Vanden Broek; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife of over 60 years Marguerite M. Wooley, father Alvin T. Wooley and mother Pauline (Lemert) Wooley. Graduate of The Ohio State University, Class of 1939; University High School, 1935. 60-year member of New England Lodge #4 F&AM; Horace Wright Chapter #226; AASR Valley of Columbus; Aladdin Shrine Temple; Worthington Chapter OES #287. Past President of the Worthington Shrine Club. WWII U. S. Army Veteran, 70th Infantry Division where he received the WWII Victory Medal and two Bronze Service Stars. Member of the 70th Infantry Division Association. Longtime manufacturing representative in the confectionery industry. Elected to the National Candy Salesman's Hall of Fame, 1972. Employed for nine years by Universal Tax Services. Member and Treasurer of Capitol Chapter 1918 Club. Life member of Worthington Historical Society. Alumnus and member of Alpha Sigma Fraternity, Zeta Chapter at The Ohio State University. Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2012 at the RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME AT POWELL, 450 West Olentangy Street, (Powell Road/St. Rt. 750/1/4 mile east of Sawmill Pkwy) Powell, Ohio 43065 (614)-792-1471 where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2012.
