Dorothy Beatrice Miller "Dottie" was born October 14, 1940 in Central Falls, Rhode Island and died on May 4, 2018 in Kissimmee, Florida at the age of 77. Dottie was predeceased by her parents Philemon Godfrey Bedard and Marion Bedard. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles K. Miller; her daughters, Anna Curran and husband, Brad, Charlene Westhora and husband, Kevin; her sister, Marlene Hamler of Zanesville, Ohio. Dottie is also survived by her love of life grandchildren, Zachary Holcomb, his wife, Stephanie, Grant Holcomb, Lauren Westhora, Nick Westhora; and her nieces and nephews; as well as her great grandchildren, Ailee and Lola. Dottie was a computer chip programer for Lucent Technology, and retired with 28 years service, she was a Past President of The John D. Burlie Chapter 89 of Telephone Pioneers of America, she was a 33 year Sister of the Rickly, Beacon Chapter #593 Order Of The Eastern Star. She was deeply involved in volunteer work for the mentally and physically challenged. Dottie always greeted you with a smile and a hug, her special likes were being with her husband, children, grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, fishing for perch, walleye, salmon as well as traveling all over the United States and the Caribbean Islands. Her favorite Disney Character TINKER BELL. Dottie will be intern at a later date per her and the families wishes. Please do not send flowers. Donations may be made to Special Olympics For The Mentally and Physically Challenged.
