Zeigler George Guy Zeigler, age 57, left us on March 29, 2013. Many would say that George, at a most youthful age, was dealt an unplayable hand of cards. In 1971, (age 16), he was diagnosed with brain cancer. This illness changed the course of his life. George graduated from Westerville High School, class of 1974. His brothers remember his interest in music - especially Casey Kasem's American Top 40 weekend countdown and the Beatles. George also enjoyed electronic kits, stitch-leather crafts, cooking shows, and the work he did at The Alpha Group. George had a nice personality, kind words to all and was supportive of those in need. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth, who was his biggest booster, bringing him good cheer daily. She was a tireless advocate for George and his long-term care. He is also survived by his brothers, Richard and Keith. Special thanks to Brad K. (ECHO Residential Support) for his years of quality care, kindness and compassion. George will be sadly missed. Thanks for being an ideal son and brother. Condolences and/or shared memories, etc., may be emailed to: Direct6988@live.com. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, where family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment Pioneer Cemetery.
