Gonser George R. "Bob" Gonser, age 93 of Westerville, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2013. Born in Springfield, Illinois and raised in Pueblo, Colorado, he lived most of his life in Westerville. Bob attended Cornell University before serving as an Army cryptographer in WWII. A great tennis player, Bob loved sports, travel, and the great outdoors. An affable and easy-going man, he spent his career in management and sales, and he never knew a stranger. Bob is preceded in death by parents George and Marie, eldest child Scott, and beloved wife Gwen. He is survived by daughters, Gail (Mike) James, Anita (Larry) Parsley; and grandson, Andrew Parsley. The family would like to thank Sterling House of Westerville and Grace Hospice for their care and support. Private family services arranged by HILL FUNERAL HOME. Interment at Blendon Central Cemetery.
