Hickman Glenn Hickman, age 78, of Hilliard, formerly of Springfield, OH, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at his residence. Born October 25, 1935 in Urbana, OH to the late Robert O. and June (Bayes) Hickman. Retired after 42 years of service with the Kroger Co. in Springfield, OH. His retirement years were filled with his love of working outdoors and was employed by Heritage Golf Club and Ables Driving Range. He was a long time member of several clubs in Springfield, OH. Also preceded in death by brothers Homer Herman Robert Jr. Melvin Ernest and Anthony, sisters Gladys Goldie Dorothy and Ida, brother-in-law Ralph W. Storts, special friends Rittie and Sheila. Survived by wife of 60 years, Dorothy "Dottie" (Storts) Hickman; children, Kathy (Venko) Nechovski, Diana Fox and Heidi (Andy) DeWitt; grandchildren, Courtney, Chance, Jessica, Amanda, McKenna, Kohlson, Keeghan and Braxtyn; great-grandchildren, Layke, Anthony, Aiden and Adalyn; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Shelby and Jeannie, Harold, Bob and Juanita; sister-in-law, Beverly Storts; loving dog, Baby Annie. Friends may call Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH where funeral service will be Wednesday, 11 a.m. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family graciously requests contributions to Mt. Carmel Hospice or the Zangmeister Cancer Center.
