BACH Henry C. Bach, 89, of Delaware passed away peacefully Friday evening January 11, 2013 at the Arbors Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 21, 1923 in Bendorf, Germany to Hugh and Lina (Mittler) Bach. He worked 42 years with Big Bear/Hart's Stores and was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Delaware where he served as head usher for numerous years. He was a volunteer for the Christmas Clearing House and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1056 where he earned his 4th degree, of which he was very proud. He enjoyed watching television especially wrestling, doing word finds, and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Often ornery and mischievous, he was a very charitable and giving person who would help and assist in doing anything if asked. Left behind to cherish his memory are his three sons, Ralph (Patti), Randy, and Raymond (Luwanna), all of Delaware; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Anna in 2007 and a sister Ethelmay Bach.
