McFann Jack L. McFann, Sr., passed away at Mt. Carmel West Hospital on April 2, 2014. Born on August 1, 1943 to the late James McFann and Ruby (Tussey) Leo in Columbus, Ohio. Jack was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War. He served aboard the USS Kitty Hawk. Member of the American Legion Post 532. Survived by wife of 20 years, Saundra (Wharton) McFann; children, Jack McFann, Jr. and Kevin (Wendy) McFann; grandchildren, Amber McFann and Jack McFann, III; step-daughter, Gidget Porter; step-grandchildren, Courtney Porter, Taylor Porter, Miranda Wilkins and Maria Wilkins; step great grandchild, Logan Killian. Preceded in death by siblings James McFann, Jr, and Katherine Mollette. Calling hours will be held at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Sunday, April 6, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral service on Monday at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Pastor P.J.
