LEWIS James Merlin Lewis Sr., age 83, born in Columbus, OH, passed away at Kobacker House January 18, 2013. Retired from Westinghouse and served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He was a lighthouse tender at West Quadi Head Lubec, Maine. Jim was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Cornelia, wife Raymah of 57 years, twin daughters Terrie and Jean, son John, and brother John. He is survived by son, Jim (Carol); granddaughters, Kelli, Erin and Lindsey; great-granddaughters, Julie, Lumi, Briley; brother, James (Houch); little darling friend, Pauline; brothers, Thomas and Arthur; sisters, Penny, Catharine, Sarah; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may call Friday, January 25, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. and 1 hour prior to the 12Noon Saturday service at the WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214 (3 Blocks S. of Henderson Rd.). Private interment in Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Ohio Health Kobacker House.
