Fisher James Robert Fisher, 88, of Grove City, Ohio, passed away at home on February 8, 2014 after being diagnosed with lung cancer last month. He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Dolores Ann Tustin (2002), brother Richard (2011) and parents Curtis (1973) and Mary (1999). He is survived by his daughter, Susan Lee Fisher of Grove City; sisters-in-law, Virginia Fisher of Palm Bay, Florida and Ruth Kennedy of Stoutsville, Ohio; and brother-in-law, Robert Tustin of Worthington; as well as several nieces and nephews. Jim was born on July 21, 1925 at his grandparents farm outside of Ashville, Ohio. Later his parents moved to the family farm on Marcy Road where he lived and worked until he married in 1956. He graduated in 1943 from Walnut Township High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1944-46. He worked at White Westinghouse for 34 years and another 22 years at Manheim Ohio Auto Auction. However, his life long passion was farming and antique farm equipment. Friends may visit from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, February 16 at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH 43110, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2014 followed by interment at Harrison Township Cemetery.
