Krstich Joseph W. Krstich, age 69, of Johnstown, former long-term resident of Monroe County, OH, passed on Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Born January 20, 1945 in Akron, OH to the late Nicholas J. and Mildred J. (Warren) Krstich. Attended Johnstown United Methodist Church. Retired history teacher with 36 years to his credit, nearly all of those years spent in the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District. He was a basketball and baseball coach for many years at Skyvue High School. His '92 baseball Hawks were Regional finalists. In 1984 the Skyvue basketball team reached the state semi-finals and returned the next year to win a state title. As a retirement job, he had worked for 7 years at the New Albany Get Go. Survived by loving wife of 18 years, Kelley; daughters, Madison and Molley; son, Matt; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Renee; son, Jason; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Brian Carlton; six grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Funeral Service 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at the Johnstown UMC, 159 S. Main St., Johnstown, OH, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time.
