DAVIS Mary Beth (Elisabeth) Davis, age 98, passed away at Friendship village of Dublin. She was born in Columbus to the late Frank and Elisabeth Prosser. She is preceded in death by her husbands Delber E. Kinsel and Thomas E. Davis and son John B. Kinsel. She is survived by her daughter, Ann E. (Gordon L.) Wright of Scotia, NY; grandsons, Timothy A. (Kathy) Wright of Gansevoort, NY, Steven P. (Angela) Wright of Beaverton, OR, and Jeffrey B. (Kara) Wright of York Harbor, ME; granddaughter, Elisabeth (Gary) Nye of McKinney, TX; great-grandchildren, Kaylei Ann, Finnian, Claire, Megan, Catherine, Isabelle, Charlotte, Andrew, Ella and Jacob; step-grandson, Dan Davis of New Orleans, LA; step-granddaughter, Judy (James) Storm of Waterford, MI; step-great-grandson, Thomas Davis; and step-great-great-grandson, Marcus. Mary Beth had been a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church since 1968. She was a graduate of North High School, Class of 1929 and Ohio State University in 1933 and 1934. She retired as the Assistant Intake Supervisor for the Montgomery County Juvenile Court in Dayton, Ohio. She was a life member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority, the OSU Alumni Association and the North High Women's Association. She was also an honorary life member of the American Association University Women, the Thea Court #5, Ladies Oriental Shrine, Thebes Temple #87, Daughters of the Nile, Kay Benes Cancer Ray of Columbus Cancer Society and an Associate member of the Pilot Dogs Association. Additionally she was a former volunteer at the Kobacker House, Hospice of Riverside and Grant Hospitals. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1735 Bethel Road, Columbus, Ohio. Pastor Jerry Kasberg officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary Beth's memory may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1735 Bethel Rd, Columbus, OH 43220, Kobacker House, 3595 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, OH 43214 or your favorite charity.
