In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it's the memories of you that are the most precious.

Everything you have ever done your entire life was for the good of others and we applaud you for that. Everything you did for others was full of great love. You were truly an angle from above, and because of that God called you back. I sleep better at night knowing I have someone up above watching over me that loves me beyond compare. You are the best grandmother that we've ever been fortunate to have. Words can not tell my feeling behind this sadness of loosing you.

Grandma,
To a truly inspiring, strong, beautiful, smart, and caring lady. I have become the woman I am today because of you. You have taught four generations of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. You are part of this families legacy and we cherish, honor and celebrate your life. We will miss you grandma but we know you are watching over us and in our dreams. We love you and run with the angels and whistle your tunes. I still hear you grandma. I love you with all my heart.
Nikki- your grand-daughter.

To Nita and Family,
It was such a blessing to get to know Mrs. McCurdy these past 3 years. We spent wonderful times together at our church services at Isabel Ridgeway. Mrs. McCurdy was always making a joyful noise to the Lord. She loved to praise and worship Him. Her prayer requests were always for her family and she believed in the power of prayer. By her example, she taught us how to worship God in every situation. I will miss her hugs and kisses and her bright smile. I know exactly where she is..in the arms of her beloved savior, Jesus.

Dear family and friends,
Although we were sad to learn of Ms. McCurdy's departure from this life, we were pleased to know that she had the opportunity to grace us with her presence here at Isabelle Ridgway where she was happily involved in a variety of activities of her choosing.
We will always remember and cherish her beautiful smile and kind heart!!!
May God continue to bless and keep all of you in His tender care and comfort!

What a beautiful lady - inside and out. My son and I attend Hope Lutheran Church. Until later years, Ms. Mattie was an integral part of her church family. I will forever hear her whistling to the hymns on Sunday. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul!
