Lindsay Paula J. Lindsay (Hemphill), born May 8, 1945 in Columbus, OH, passed away September 28, 2013. Predeceased by father Paul Franklin Hemphill and mother Roise Mae Reid (Byrd). Surviving love ones: three children, Deborah (Richard) Thigpen of Columbus, Oh., Danessa (Douglass Lartey) Lindsay of Columbus, Oh., Dionne (Robert) Brooks of Columbus, Oh.; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, all of Columbus, OH; brothers and sisters, Sandreth Shepherd of Columbus, Oh, Lewis (Sandra) Hemphill of Dallas, TX, Patricia (Barry) Henderson of Columbus, OH, LaVerne Shaw of Columbus, Ohio, Pamela Yearwood of Columbus, OH, Vincent Reid of Columbus, OH and Donald Reid of Los Angeles, CA.; and a host of nieces and nephews; special Friend of 35 years, Johnny. Attended Eastmoor High School, Ohio State School of Cosmetology. Place: Ohio State University (labor and delivery) and Various Manufactory jobs as a stream stress Hobbies: Home Interior, Arts and Crafts, Fishing, Secret Shopper, Sewing, and Loved Movies. She was a member of Apostolic Christian Church of Christ were she received her Evangelist Certification. Memorial Service Thursday, October 3, to be held at Apostolic Christian Church of Christ, 735 E. Gates St., Columbus, OH 43206. Family will receive friends 10-11 a.m. memorial service to immediately follow 11 a.m.-12Noon. You can make a donation in Paula's name to children's charities.
