Gloyd (Cummins) Peggy J. Gloyd (Cummins), 76, of London, died Thursday, November 14, 2013, 4:22 a.m. at the Arbors Of London. Peggy was born July 14, 1937 in Holden West Virginia, the daughter of Warren Jackson and Mary Elizabeth (Toth) Cummins. She had been employed as a customer service manager with Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield Inc. She had been an active member for many years with the Delta Theta Tau Sorority and was a volunteer with the League Against Child Abuse. Peggy graduated from London High School in 1956. She is survived by step mother, Dolly Cummins of Ansted, West Virginia; half sisters, Dreama Cummins of Smithers, West Virginia and Deloris Lewis of Ansted, West Virginia; half brothers, David Cummins of Rock Cave, West Virginia and Danny Cummins of Elkins, West Virginia; nieces and nephew, Diana Thompson, Debra Stephenson, and David Johnson; great-nieces, Jennifer (Dwayne) Scaggs, Jamey (Roger) Ash; Kristin Winland; great nephews, T.J. (Teresa) Johnson; Wesley Johnson; great-great-nieces and nephews, Jordan, Bobbie, Xavier, Rachel and Wyatt: great-great-great-niece, Emma Rose. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jim Cummins, sister Betty Krutko, sister-in-law Faye Cummins. A funeral service will be celebrated Monday, 3 p.m. at the RADER-LYNCH And DODDS FUNERAL HOME And CREMATION SERVICE, 124 E. High St., London. The family invites friends to call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will follow in the Bethel Township Cemetery.
