Martin Ramona Freeman Martin, age 68, was called home to be with the Lord on February 25, 2013. Member of East Mt. Olivet Baptist Church where she served in the choir. Predeceased by parents Joseph Freeman and Ruth Lowe, husbands Freddie Lindley and Joe Martin, daughter Shannon Johnson and sisters Peggy Porter and Bettye Oates. Survived by loving family, children, Philip (Yolanda) Freeman, Eugene Michael Freeman, William (Katrina) Freeman, Jacob Jasper Spivey Martin, Deirdre Freeman-Stokes, Ruth (Johnathan) Lawson, and Fredrica (Sherman) Dixon; siblings, Rev. Joseph (Priscilla) Freeman, Jr., George (Diantha) Freeman, Willie Freeman, Jonathan (Stephanie) Lowe, and Carlotta Pierce; 19 grandchildren, including special grandson, Dominique Freeman; 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Homegoing Celebration 12Noon Saturday, March 2, 2013 at East Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 2940 E. 11th Ave. Rev. Joseph Freeman Jr., officiating.
